Lydia went to North Carolina to find adventure. Instead, she spent the summer incarcerated in her apartment reading books. She feels she has wasted a perfectly good summer because of her timidity. She meets Black as they are boarding the plane to go home.

Blake's whole life is bound up in his work. He's determined to make partner in his law firm. The dying wish of his grandfather was for Blake to retrieve a box from his grandfather's ex-flame. Blake is going down in flames of his own. He can't find the woman anywhere and is bowing to defeat and heading back home to his job.

The plane is grounded, leaving both of them stranded in North Carolina together. In a leap of faith, Lydia offers to help Blake find the box. Together they surmount all the roadblocks and dig up the secret--which happens to include some timely advice from a man who let it all go to dive for the golden ring.

This was a fun book. I enjoyed it's sweet story, it's advice not to let the search for money blur the real treasures in life, and it's lack of garbage such as sex and bad language. I give it a four out of five secret boxes.

I have discovered my new favorite author! This book was so, so good! It had me laughing and crying. I loved Blake and Lydia. I loved the letters and the reminder to spend time with the permanent people in your life.
Reading this novella was fun for me as it was short and sweet and was the perfect way to escape into a book for an evening.
Sweet and refreshing story about two people learning what is truly important in this life. Like a breath of fresh air this novella is clean but sparkling. Loved it!
After reading Righting a wrong, I knew I had to read Lost and Found to finish Lydia's story and I'm so glad I did. Blake and Lydia's adventure was fun, cute, and just what I needed to finish my Christmas break. Karen White is a great author and I look forward to reading more of her books.
I discovered Karey White's books quite by accident. I am so glad I did because they are great. She has a way of writing that makes you feel like a good friend is telling of things that have happened in their life. I like the fact that the stories are moving along with lots of fun things happenings.
This story grabbed me from the beginning and kept me engaged all the way through. It left me with a feel-good smile at the end. I liked the characters and their story was just right.
An unplanned vacation extension turns into a lovely couple of days full of fun and introspection. Lydia cracked me up. I thought her "creative adventures" were great. Blake was a good guy with misguided goals. I loved that the characters complemented each other; that their strength was the other's weakness. What a nice addition to the story the grandfather's part of the novel. This was a great addition to the Ripple Effect Series.
