I loved Ms. Seal's characters. They felt so real to me. It takes talent to create a fantasy world and make it feel like it could be an actual place.

Ms. Seal creates a really beautiful coming of age story with the Dwellers of Ahwahnee. There's nothing like a great combination of good vs evil and a tantalizing, sweet romance to make you wish for your very own grey wolf.

So far I have only read book one but I'll be back to review books two and three. I can't wait to read them.

This is a collection of three books, and each one is an awesome read. The heroine, Oria, thinks she’s going on a family vacation, but this trip takes her on a fantastic journey and changes her life forever. Turns out she’s a shape-shifter, but the author has created a world that is totally believable. This is a unique coming of age story that has everything—a good versus evil plot and some Native American lore as well. I won’t soon forget it. I hated to see it end.
Three books (502 pages) for only $2.99 is a great deal no matter how you look at it, and so much the better that the series is inventive and well-written. The Dwellers of Ahwahnee explores a group of shape-shifters, and is rich in mythology and world-building. Definitely something I'd recommend to fantasy and paranormal fans. Two thumbs up!
I was lucky enough to have read each of these books in ebook format before the collection became available. Now that it is I can't wait to order my printed copies of this trilogy. Each book tells the story of the Golden Queen of the Ahwahnee and how she leads her people in their battle to protect the world of man from the evil that threatens it. The stories are written from the perspective of the native people in them which draws you into their lives, their tales and their hardships. Beautifully written stories for both young and mature readers who have interested in native legends or paranormal. You won't be disappointed.
This is such a terrific bargan. You get three stories for peanuts and access to a lengthy dozen of free chapters first. I have never seen an author be so generous. Then you are left with the real bargin. The story. A sensitive young girl embarks on the surprise revelations of her life.

If you are looking for something to charm you while you are entertained by blindsides, mysteries, well told historical elements and bold face truths we often shy away from. Do youself a favor and pick up this anthology.

Oh...and don't go in the water....
I had the privilege of reading all three books in this collection. This is more than just a story of good versus evil. It’s a story of love and wisdom, full of romance and Native American wisdom. All three books are equally good. The author didn’t rush through the other books of the series. She gave the other books as much attention as she gave the first book of the collection. This story if full of twists. You just can’t predict what will happen next. I don’t have to say much, the free sample speaks for itself. The good thing about the box set is that the free sample is much bigger than that of individual books. The reader can read a big chunk (more than 11 chapters) of the first book for free before making the decision to buy.
Oria is a wonderful character who suddenly has to deal with incredible responsibilities, find and understand her power all while falling in love . . . typical teenage girl stuff but this is no typical story. The reader is taken to an extraordinary world, one we could explore forever. The pages speed past and I found myself trying to slow down to make it last longer. Along the way there are surprises, wisdom, magic, excitement and much beauty.

While this wonderful story is populated by shape shifters, fairies and spirits set in fantastical realms, the plot is dramatic and full of action as Oria, the Golden Queen of the Ahwahneechee, continues the battle with the Ala. The author does a wonderful job of weaving the story and painting realistic and creative scenes that make the reader feel part of the story – and that’s no easy trick for fantasy. What a great collection! Highly recommended - five stars!

I found myself on a journey into another world filled with shape shifters, fairies, and spirits where love and excitement prevail. This is a beautiful collection---and I do mean "beautiful." The story is woven in such a way that one feels compelled to linger over each page.
